  As I have recently become and inhabitant of Abram Wigan from the midlands where excellent chippies are literally everywhere , I have struggled to find a good chippy in the Wigan / Goldbrone Area that sells propper chicken kebab meat on the spit (same as donner) , as their strange obsession with Pies is obvious. At long last I have thankfully found this place (thanks to my neighbour ) and upon sampling the said chicken , I can safely say it’s Truly awesome!! It’s juciy succulent and tasty , the marinade seems to be a cross between tikka and mediteranean , the portion size was excellent and the kebab was constructed properly as the lady put the reqeusted sauces on half way through before they top up with meat and then finally salad to finish .
  It was a truly excellent kebab by all accounts, from what I can gather for the short time I’ve lived here is generally the takeaway food in this area is very poor not only that the expectation from customers seems the same , However Sols Chip shop have got it absolutely spot on, great variety of different foods , great chips, good portion sizes and fair prices.
  Well done! . Never under estimate the importance of living by a good chippy ;-)

  Chips almost always over done and Tate like they do not change be the oil very often. This chippy is 300 yards from my house but I drive 5 miles away to get decent chips.
